This class will go through the basic functions of your machine and cover bobbin winding, threading, and utility stitches along with troubleshooting and maintenance. Class is for Baby Lock, Brother and Janome machines in the Basic Range.
This class will go through the basic functions of your machine and cover bobbin winding, threading, and utility stitches along with troubleshooting and maintenance. Class is for Mid-line and Top of the Line Baby Lock and Brother machines, and includes the sewing features of combo machines.
Learn the amazing sewing features of your BERNINA sewing machine while you set up your machine to your very own specifications! The class will cover basic threading and maintenance as well as how to select, combine and sew utility and decorative stitches, make perfect buttonholes and various feet.
In this course you will learn to master your BERNINA Embroidery machine. You will learn everything you need to successfully embroider with your machine, including setting up your machine for embroidery, customizing your machine?s settings, navigating your embroidery screens, adding lettering, editing your designs, placing designs, changing thread colors and more. Includes all Bernina combo or embroidery only machines.

What is fusible applique? This workshop is all about technique! We will discuss how to manage curves and corners as well as basic machine applique stitches.
Freestanding lace is an embroidery technique where a design is stitched on wash away stabilizer. After stitching, the design is rinsed in water, which dissolves the stabilizer, and you are left with a thread-only project. In this class, you will stitch out a freestanding lace design on one of our machines. No prior experience with machine embroidery is necessary.
Quilt-as-you-go is technique for creating quilt blocks where you piece and quilt your "quilt sandwich" all at the same time. It's a great technique for smaller projects such as placemats.

String Quilting is a fun technique where strings (aka strips) of fabric of any size are sewn to a foundation paper. The blocks are then put together in various ways, creating truly unique projects. Precision cutting and sewing are not crucial, and string quilts are great stash busters. It is a technique that both new and experienced quilters can enjoy!
