Quilt-as-you-go is technique for creating quilt blocks where you piece and quilt your "quilt sandwich" all at the same time. It's a great technique for smaller projects such as placemats. In this Workshop, we will teach you how to Quilt-as-you-go using GE Designs Friday Fiesta Placemats pattern.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. Pre-requisite is a Basic Quilting Class.
The class fee includes use of one of our classroom machines. All participants must purchase a supply kit that includes the pattern and enough fabric and batting to make 4 placemats (you will piece 1 placemat in class, and you can complete the others at home).
