Ready to expand your quilting knowledge? Skill Builder: Quilting 102 is an in-depth class that will guide students through using precuts, strip-piecing, squaring blocks, binding and more! You'll complete a lap quilt during 3 sessions. Participants must have completed Skill Builder: Basic Quilting or have completed at least one quilted project.
This class will go through the basic functions of your machine and cover bobbin winding, threading, and utility stitches along with troubleshooting and maintenance. Class is for Baby Lock, Brother and Janome machines in the Basic Range.

This class will go through the basic functions of your machine and cover bobbin winding, threading, and utility stitches along with troubleshooting and maintenance. Class is for Mid-line and Top of the Line Janome machines, and includes the sewing features of combo machines.

In 2025, they published "Make It Home" - a collection of patterns than can be used to make home dec projects in addition to quilts. In each of the six 3-Yard Workshops this year, we will feature one of those patterns. We will teach you the fundamentals of the block or blocks used in the pattern and you'll make one in class. Then, we will discuss how to finish the various projects using the pattern - pillows, table runners, placemats or quilts - which you will do at home.
